So. I'm working on a story with And we have a problem. AND YOU CAN HELP.

The problem here is:
We have a group of six characters ( two soldiers, an assassin, a researcher, a bounty hunter and the the bad guy's son) that are going on a journey to find this bad-guy-general-man who's performing experiments on people.

The problem here is that they have no motive for wanting to find this general-guy in the first place. (Save the fact that they're a generally good group of people and want to help people....but that's really vague ad boring.) And we need a conflict that would affect EVERYONE. (like, the entire population).

So, if you could post some suggestions, that would be amazing.
